“ I like it. I had the Tacos Norma, soft tortillas with some kind of creamy sauce on the taco fixin's. I didn't know what to expect but I loved them! Really, it's more of a pizza establishment, but they have tacos, too. I wish the juke box was clearer; my only "complaint." ”
“ Nick’s place is a hidden gem. I am so glad I convinced a friend to give it a try with me. Their pizza and calzone were cooked awesome and was very freshly made. The calzone was packed with meats and came with marinara that has a thinner consistency but great flavor with a slight spice. The pizza is cooked awesome with that crisp on the crust but is still soft everywhere else. I heard about Nick’s on ESPN 97.5 for years and finally made the trip. Glad I did! I will be back! Also the staff was incredibly friendly. Neaimo spent the time to introduce himself and remembered my name too. Also there were plenty of tvs to watch sports! ”
“ This used to be my go-to watering hole before I moved. I visited last night for the first time in a couple years. I consider it a "dive bar" with no disrespect (I happen to like dive bars). It is a very unassuming place with a large inside and nice outdoor dog friendly patio (at least it used to be, so check before going). The best thing about Nick's is the food! In the years I've been away, it is still consistent and delicious! The pizzas are phenomenal. I don't know what they do to that crust, but oh my! It is so good! Their menu is quite extensive, so you won’t run out of things to try. Parking is very convenient. You can literally park steps away. Nick's has an onsite ATM. Security was present last night when I arrived. That's always a plus. A lot of people have come through those Nick's doors. I have made some good friends from my ventures over the years. Enjoy! ”
“ Honestly they might have the best pasta in Houston and the calamari is amazing as well! I can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu. ”
“ As the very first place visited on trip to Houston, this place set the tone for excellent food and superb drinks. Hannah was awesome. ”
“ When I went there they played rock music and I liked it. I think they had a jukebox to play other songs but I’m not sure. The bartenders are real asf and good people. There peoples people yknow. My name is actually Nick so the bartender (didn’t get his name) took great care of me ! We ordered two bottles of moscato and a pizza and had a good time thanks to the bartender’s. ”
“ Went there last Sunday with some friends for 1st time. Great local / sports bar. Ice cold beer, fun atmosphere, and service was really good [positive attitude and very helpful]. Definitely will be back for Rockets game ”
“ My gf is super spice sensitive so when we ordered the salsa and chips and it was too spicy for her they were cool and let us switch it for the queso. Great service, they will serve your beers in a Stella glass if you ask them which is super cool to me. All the food was great, they have a pool table and a full bar and it’s a great vibe. Pet friendly !!! They’ll let you sit on the outside patio area and order and hang with your dogos! ”
